Bassegoda Park is a family camping and 1st category bungalow park located in Albanyà (Alt Empordà), in the area of Girona. It is the best place to enjoy exceptional starry nights thanks to the quality of the sky. For this reason, it was awarded with the recognition of the first International Dark Sky Park in Spain by the International Dark-Sky Association (IDA). The Astronomical Observatory of Albanyà, located in the same area, will allow you to discover the beauty of Albanyà’s sky. Next to the Muga River, the campsite is a great place for enjoying nature and its surroundings, and to practice a wide variety of family activities. Bassegoda Park is located in Alta Garrotxa Nature Park (PEIN) and 7 km from the medieval town of Sant Llorenç de la Muga, 25 km from Figueres, Salvador Dalí city, where the Dalí Museum is found, and close to the Costa Brava, where you can enjoy the beach and the sun of Girona.
Bassegoda Park camping has different types of bungalows, with a capacity from 2 to 7 people. Our guests will find all the comfort that a 1st category camping offers. Located by the Muga River, it allows you to be completely surrounded by nature and practice a wide range of activities. The themed weekends, especially designed for families, are a great plus. Also, Bassegoda Park is a mountain biking information point and is part of the GR11, a path with two stops in Albanyà that connects Alt Empordà and Costa Brava with the Cantabrian Sea.
