BASSEGODA PARK: NATURALLY UNIQUE!

Bassegoda Park is a world-class family campsite and bungalow park, perfect for visiting with children, in Albanyà (Girona), in the Empordà region.

At Bassegoda Park, children are our priority. We offer many themed weekends with activities and workshops for youngsters and families! This is in addition to the normal campsite entertainment programme on offer during peak season. We design the activities so that the children leave Bassegoda Park as better people, having learnt something whilst having fun. We only have two taboos: politics and religion.

Albanyà is one of the best places in Europe for observing the dark sky and the stars: Bassegoda Park is an astronomy campsite! The International Dark-Sky Association (IDA) awarded Albanyà recognition as the first International Dark-Sky Park in Spain; and Bassegoda Park was also the first campsite on the Iberian Peninsula to receive the Starlight Camp certificate for promoting activities relating to astronomy. With the Observatori Astronòmic Albanyà, next to the campsite, we can enjoy this privileged sky and the stars!

Bassegoda Park is in the Alt Empordà region, at the entrance to the protected Alta Garrotxa Area of Natural Interest, surrounded by a huge number of trails. It is 25 km from Figueres, the capital of the Alt Empordà, birthplace of Salvador Dalí; and 40 km from the Costa Brava, with the best beaches in the province of Girona. Environmentally friendly, Bassegoda Park is the first smart campsite in Spain with maximised energy efficiency and greatly reduced light and noise pollution.

Bassegoda Park has all kinds of bungalows and accommodation, for 2 to 7 people, with all the creature comforts of a world-class campsite. With an entertainment and activities programme for children and families throughout the year, an exceptional night sky for observing the stars, and a surprising and unique natural environment close to Figueres and Girona, Bassegoda Park is naturally unique!
