A natural environment such as that of Bassegoda Park, with so many trees, favours the growth of many mushrooms. Every autumn our forests are full. In Albanyà, it is very common to go mushroom hunting in the forest.

Albanyà also holds the Fira del Bolet [Mushroom Fair] every autumn, where you can see all kinds of mushrooms, entertainment, mushroom exhibitions, talks, etc. Bassegoda Park also organises the Mushroom Competition, where you can see kilos and kilos of mushrooms from the forests of Albanyà.
